Hey all. Im brand new to this site and also new to the modeling world. Im 17 years old and im graduating highschool this year and moving onto college. As I was a child my dad always worked on model cars so I was always intrested in modeling. And right now i decided to pick up my own paintbrush and do my own stuff. I prefer military models (world war two era) and right now im working on my very first model. Well just wanted to say hi and hopefully all you pros can help me out with my newbie mistakes.

Welcome onboard fuel21. Hope you enjoy yourself here. A good tip is to post fotos of your work in progress and get good help and support from the experts as you go along. Might as well learn the right way from the start!

Sounds good fuel21. Glad to see there are a lot of younger builders on here. Sometimes you hear talk about more interest in video games and such, but I'm encouraged to hear I'm not the only student out there who builds. I know there are a lot on this site. Hopefully I'll be able to help you out sometimes as I know how it is to be just starting, having only been building my self for a handful of years. Good luck and most importantly, have fun.

Fuel, I don't have any idea where you are from but when you leave home and go to college hopefully you will be heading tp Purdue, the real Indiana University. Sorry, had to throw that in since it's March Madness and all. I'll go to bed now...

Hi Fuel21, welcome to the best site on the net. Don't be afraid to ask a question, there is a wealth of learning to do but the expertise is here to help. What is your first model? As Plasticbattle says it is good if you can post pics of you project, not only for help and advice but as modellers we all like to see models. :-) Above all have fun.
