Armorama Benelux Workshop 2003

Shopping

At the workshop was also the opportunity to do some shopping. Across the street you could find "Ceulemans Modelbouwwinkel".

But you did not need to leave the club room since there where some bargains to find. MST (Dutch merchant) had a little stand in the room and there you could find some nice stuff (I got myself a set of headlight lenses for my willy's jeep) and Gert Mertens also had some surplus for sale at prizes you would not believe.  We where all over him :-)

Even Gino Poppe had a nice sample of MIG products with him and especialy the pigments where in great demand.

 Conclusion

If you realize that this is the very first workshop for us (Armorama) and for the people of KMK, then it is safe to say that it was a big success.

Off course there are items that need some improvement but at the end of the day everybody went home with a good feeling and new knowledge.

After the workshop and the cleaning up I stayed a while with the KMK group for a beer ant they also where very pleased and already suggested a follow op workshop in 2004.

This tasted for more, much more.

I want to thank everybody who was present that day (see list) and off course to Gino and the people of KMK for this fine day and their willingness to share their know-how with us.

And let us not forgot to mention Jim, because in a way he is the basis for this day.

Armorama members who where present:

Roadkill, Eagle, Faust, Wezz, Crossbow, Zero_Cool, Bep, Golikell, Greyhunter, GeneralFailure, Mekgek en vader, Mark123, Freekster en vader, Violentg, faze4, Beaker, leo1vtanker, povolo, JohanW

We also made a video (± 100 minutes), mainly of Gino's demo and we are looking at the possibility to burn it to DVD for the members who where there (only in Dutch!).

I hope to report and see more of these event reports, it is fun.
