Proudly served as U.S. Navy Special Warfare for the last 10 years. As I finish my final tour here in the next couple of weeks, I have been looking for a hobby to take up that will keep me engaged... and serve to be both constructive and artistic. That has led me to the Kit Maker Network. I hope to be back and have my work area in my garage set up and operational by October. As of that time, I will be aquiring a few wooden ship/boat models to kick off my new hobby. I have not built a model in the last 18 years, so I will be actively learning and asking questions throughout the rest of my time. I look forward to starting and beginning to climb that steep learning curve.
