I have built models since I was a small child. I enlisted in the military at seventeen as an aviation crew member and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. I became a warrant officer and a helicopter pilot at the age of twenty two and have flown UH-60 Blackhawks in the Kentucky National Guard ever since. I was a UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot for around six years, I have flown numerous civilian helicopters and airplanes before becoming an Airline Pilot on the civilian side of my life. After returning from a tour in Iraq I decided I enjoyed flying helicopters more than jets and left the airlines for a job as an EMS helicopter pilot. I have continued to build various models of various scales for relaxation through out my aviation career. Now I desire to build as accurately detailed models as I can to reproduce the aircraft I have flown as well as machinery and equipment of other people that I have known. I have a tremendous respect for all branches and countries that I served with in Iraq as well as those that served in Afghanistan with my best friend. I hope to build models in honor of their service and preserve the memory of the great people I have met. While researching information for up coming projects I found this website. I found this site very useful for my research and full of people with more experience than I with the same goal. As I found answers to my questions I discovered people seeking information that I can provide.
