always been interested in big ships i think it goes back to my grandad as he was c.p.o on guns he was on prince of wales and the rodney and before ww 2 the hood half way through the war he was posted to dog island as large gunnery instructor my other grandad was also navy he didnt talk about it much but did say he was posted in a gunboat on the nile he always said it was a row boat with a gun on the front i have pics he wasnt far wrong
