I do remember my first fascination with model kits was when I first saw the Tamiya kit of the battleship Yamato. At that time I was probably 7-8 years old, the size of the box was huge, building it would had been a great joy. But since I was underage at that time, I was not allowed to purchase it, not to mention the big price tag. My first kit was a ship, the Revell 1/720 Graf Spee. After building it, I found that it was too much trouble for me, thus I never purchased another ship kit. I would then started building aircraft kits and armor kits. As I got deeper into the hobby, I found that I was very fascinated with FieldMarshall Rommel. Then I started focusing on the Afrika Korps. This continues for several months. Nowadays I build modern APC/IFV and the occasional tanks/aircraft, even Gundam kits sometimes. My writing is not very good, sometime I'm going to redo this when I've got more time online... :d
