Username: USLAWCOMPLIANCEMy affinity for styrene started with a USAF Thunderbirds F-4 Phantom Snap-Tite model by Revell. This particular model was actually in need of paint, unlike the current version which simply snaps together. Eventually I completed a few fighter jets: The F-16, The F-15E, The F-14D. During my childhood, I studied WWII military history. I never did complete the M46 tank. I still remember the difficulty I had affixing the decal of a tiger head on that beast. My proudest achievement was the USS Arizona in 1995. Unfortunately, my family moved in 1996 and I was unable to bring any models along for the ride. In 1999, I joined the US Army at the age of 17 under the Delayed entry program. Initially, I was a telecommunications operator/maintainer but re-classed to USACAPOCs pride and joy, the Civil Affairs specialist--38B. In reality, we were the red-headed step children of our community(esp as Reserve component soldiers) but we wore it like a badge of honor. Some day, if I find one, I might complete an SR-71.
