Born in '75 so half '70s kid, half '80s kid. I'd always been interested in scale model building and got my first decent go at building on for Christmas when I was 13. I covered the canopy in glue in about 30mins, used so much thinner keeping my enamel paints together that I had a headache for 3 weeks, but managed to do a reasonable job on the decals. Built kits on and off for years after and now I'm really trying to get serious. Airbrush, clear coats, wethering the lot. My stash is mostly planes with a couple of Sci-Fi kits but I'm keen to get into tanks and ships.
