I am a retired airline pilot and am now the owner of a custom furniture shop that builds furniture to order. The shop is called "The Southern Woodright". All pieces of furniture are heirloom quality with no MDF or Particle board products used. We only use top quality choice woods including exotics from around the world. Assembly is through old world craftsman style joinery and absolutely no nails, or staples are used in the construction. As to my model building preferences; I build scratch built ships with the occasional piece of armor thrown in and I am also a figure sculpter and painter.
