Born in the Netherlands, emigrated to Oregon, USA in 2000. I used to build almost any type of scale model, mostly planes and armor, but stopped about 15 years ago. Recently I bought two ready to go display models scale 1:18 of a Tiger I E and a Panther G. After a while I was not happy with the colors and details and completely took the Tiger apart and have started to rebuild it as historically accurate as I can. The Panther is next. This has caused me to start my scale model hobby again. I bought an airbrush, dremel tool and ofcourse paint, brushes, putty....the whole deal. And I signed up here for the wealth of shared information.
