Air Force brat, grew up all over. Mostly US and Europe (Great Britain and Germany). Enlisted in the US Army in 1964, did 3 years in armor in Germany. Turret mechanic and crewed on M88. Married twice, second one the best and a real keeper. 3 children. I have been modeling since about 1955, when I received my first kit a Hawk Panther jet. The only time I stopped was when I was in Germany in the mid 60's. I mostly build 1/32nd and 1/48th WW1 and some post WW2 jets, same scales. However my unbuilt collection has a bunch of everything. I am also a model railroader, now working in On30 (O scale running on HO track). Now that I am retired I have found a little more time to model and hope that I can better my "craft" as well as add to my collection of built pieces.
