INTRODUCTION
Recently I received a package from the Airbrush Company Ltd with a selection of offerings by Wilder Products. This review is of their block sanding tool with four grades of grit.

Sander TS 01
Sander TS 01 is packaged in a blister pack backed with an eye catching blue, yellow and black flat flat card. The tool is a rectangle of firm foam with sandpapers affixed to each side.

This sander is light and small and fits well in my hand. With a foam base the tool has a reasonable amount of elasticity for conforming around curves. The four grits did their job well on the model parts I tried them on. To remove a burr from the rear rim of a German helmet I employed the two finest sides. It removed the blemish and left the burr area much smoother - almost slippery - than the rest of the helmet. It also worked well on a wood model.

The refuse washed off easily from the sander.

Because the edges of each grade of sandpaper does not abutt the other, there is a channel between them. This makes the tool less than ideal for small concave areas.

Conclusion
Wilder's 4-sided sander is a useful tool. One does not have to scrounge through the tool box to find a selection of grits as they are all on one tool. The tool fits well in my hand. Unlike a metal file the foam core allows some give when sanding.

It is bulkier than sheets of sandpaper or sanding sticks and thus may not fit well inside smaller tool boxes.

I can recommend this tool as a compact and unified sander for modelers.
