Man am I glad to have found all of you! It’s great that there is a forum this large dedicated to scale military modeling.

Anyway, by way of introduction, I use to love building models as a kid and now I’m returning to the hobby some twenty odd years latter. I can’t believe how much new stuff is out there and I’m dieing to get my hands on as much of it as I can – as long as my wife doesn’t kill me first

I’m nowhere near as good a modeler as many of you here, but I’m really excited about getting better and picking up the hobby again – so I’ll be looking to pick your brains frequently.

All the best,
Noah

Welcome Noah,

You may very well enjoy what is offered out there. There are a lot of incredible kits, aftermarket, and tools out there to enjoy.
Look at the hobby like this... if you are out at the hobby bench then your wife know where to find you. Or at the hobby store. It's better for you than going to the bar.
Again, welcome and enjoy!

Cheers
Dave

Welcome Noah (though I'm new too!).

Regarding wives - should open a topic for defense info exchange - be carefull!
Whatever you say or do will certainly be used against you (no Miranda here) one way or another. Best policy (worked for me) to have your own room, though you always run the risk to open the door to go to the bedroom and find a brickwall next to it, freshly built! I have 3 doors!.
Another defense line is to have as many children as possible. She will forget you even exist for the next 25 tears or so and your hands will be to cold in the winter and too hot in the summer to touch...
Welcome again,

George from Greece (married for 37 years to the same wife).
