Hello all,

Just getting back into modeling after a few years away and i want to expand my experience with weathering. I searched the forums and can't seem to find the answer to this so I apologize if the has been posted already.

Can anyone provide a simple combination recipe (how many parts water compared to how many parts acrylic paint) that I could use in my beginning phase of weathering? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

If you are talking about an overall wash for the vehicle,it should be very thin maybe 8-1 like black coffee

For some unknown reason i cannot enter the site at the moment, but check out: http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com
under the tips n tricks section should be something that could help you on your way, if it is a plane you're building.
Otherwise look here:

If you can find a copy of Chris Mrosko's book "Panzer's Tactics" , I think you will find a good, solid, easy to understand program to start weathering with. Hope that helps
