As the show draw ever closer, we have been informed that AFV Club will be sending us a built up Stryker kit, a set of the sprues and a set of the instructions for viewing at AMPS 2007! Contrary to what is being posted elsewhere, the kit is not out in Asia or anywhere else. These guys broke their butts to make sure that one of the first, final test shots came to AMPS. It is being shipped today and is expected either Thursday or Friday. Way cool!

In addition, when they found out that we were having a raffle, AFV Club air shipped us a huge box of 23 kits and multiple accessories so that it would get here in time! Way cool even more!

With all the recent discussion about how the manufacturers don't care about customer service, this is a refreshing turn of events and one which AMPS appreciates. AFV Club is to be commended, not only for doing cool kits but also for being part of the show in verying ways!

Those of you who have not taken advantage of the special "Join now and get the Stryker issue" offer have less than 48 hours to get in on this deal. To recieve this special 40 page, full color Stryker issue just visit http://www.amps-armor.org/ampssite/default.aspx and click on the "Join AMPS" button in the "Quick Links" box.
When you get to the correct page, just click one of the lower set of buttons depending on your geographic location. The membership rate to recieve this book is:
$27 US (Usually $25)
$32 Canadian (Usually $30)
$38 Overseas (Usually $35)
The Stryker issue will be shipped to you separately and is NOT included in the 6 issues of Boresight you will recieve as part of your membership (giving you 7 instead of 6 issues). Join now because the Stryker issue will be sold for $20 at the show and whatever we have remaining will be sold after the show at $20 plus shipping.

I hope everyone has a safe trip and look forward to seeing everyone on line waiting to get your models into the judges area. This is going to be an incredible show!

Very nice news Robert.
Looking forward to meeting you at the show.
Also looking forward to recruiting a few members to judge the Armorama.com award. Being old, senile and unable to bend to well, due to a bad back, perhaps if a few younger more flexible members could step forward to this, it would be greatly appreciated.
