Are you building a Leopard C1 or C2?

Markings varied from the Leopard C1 to the Leopard C2 and in the different Regiments.

Some Leopards had the black Maple Leaf outlined in white...this was hand painted at the tank crew level. Some tanks just had the black Maple Leaf.

Call signs for the most part were just black letters and numbers but some tanks had them outlined in white...this was also hand painted and done at the Squadron level. Call signs on the Leopard C1s were applied to the hull slave cable bin and the fuel hopper bin. They were also applied to the turret searchlight bin at the turret rear and some also had them added to the driver's tool box at the hull rear. Call signs are also pre-set so you can't add just any numbers and letters. All tanks within a Regiment will have call signs applied. On the C2 the turret call sign was on the back of the stowage bins.

Tactical markings were applied to the glacis plate and rear hull. They denote that the unit is armoured and which Brigade they belong to.

Bridge class numbers were usually done in black but I did see some of the 12RBC Leopard C2s with them in black numbers in a yellow circle.

Some tanks had names applied, some did not. The names are passed down through Regimental history and crews do not add names to tanks like the US tankers.

The CFR number was applied to the hull rear usually below the driver's tool box bin and to the glacis plate centered above the grousers.

There is no dedicated set of decals for Canadian Leopards ever since Quartermaster's Depot closed down. Your best bet is to gather reference material on the markings you want to replicate and look at Archer's. Trackjam does include a set of decals in their early Leopard C1 conversion set...contact them and maybe they will sell them out of the conversion set.

If you need more info on markings just ask.

So, are you building a C1 or C2 or just trying to gather information?
