The Cheapo airline RyanAir is shortly going to be expanding it's destinations and including flights to HK for as little as seven pounds (around $14).

Now the biggest problem with them is a very small baggage allowance although I reckon you could carry a large, empty suitcase and wear around 5 layers of clean clothes thereby allowing one to shop to your heart's content...

So long as it isn't seven pounds of the runway upon landing with the undercarriage retracted
Honkers was going to be the last big family trip, all booked, but then the folks decided to separate instead...
Will still get there though, and I think you are approaching it the right way Jim although 2 tshirts one pair of shorts and 5 jocks'll see me through

5 layers of clean clothes

You just need to do what women have learned long ago, to turn your underclothes inside out. That doubles the life you get out of them. After a couple of days you can always go "Commando."

Ask any Yank friends you have what Commando means.

Geese, $14 to H.K? Do they actually land or just open the doors and drop you out when you get there?

The hobby shops in H.K. better stock up.

Hot damn, I could head over there once a month at that price, just not sure I could afford the amount I'd spend while out there once a year let alone once a month....
