How do you code for inserting hyperlinks other than the way. In other words, how do you make "click here" a link?

The steps for a click here link:......... (there are two ways to do the trick)
1. Type your text you want like: I found a cool museum site here is the link.
2. just under the typefield you`ll see a couple of buttons.
3. We are only going to use the first two
4. If you push the first button you get this codestring: http://put.url.here
5. Copy the URL from the site that you want to make clickable
6. Paste it on the place where "http://put.url.here" is between the HTML codestrings
7. Push submit and the link will appear clickable in your post
but as you will see is that link appears really as you have copied it so..... www.thisisreallyoneofthecoolestsitesaroundbladibladibladibladi.com

8. with the url= button you have to do the same thing. Copy the desired URL in the place of "http://put.url.here" but behind that there is another thing where you can type in that says "linkname" here you type for example: "really cool site"
then the text appears like this: really cool site

I didn't overlook those obvious buttons, by the way. They just didn't work at all so I thought I was doing something wrong. Thanks for the help. Goes to show that nothing is idiot proof.
