I would like to subscribe to AMPS. Its been a very long day, so please forgive my question if it sounds stupid. Can I send a cheque drawn on a Canadian bank and is it $32.00 Cdn or $32.00 US?

Not a stupid question at all.

First of all, you can't send a cheque drawn on any bank but a US bank. US Banks won't cash them. Second, international money orders frequently have large charges associated with them at US Banks, notwithstanding that they are nominally "international". We accept IMOs but you shuold contact our treasurer to see if there are any charges. He is John Raucher at:

The best bet is to pay by Paypal, through the site. You don't pay an extra charge (we absorb it) and the payment gets a receipt right away, so you know we have it.

The Canadian membership is US$32.
