Interesting photo from the SCAHMS report by Jim Starkweather. On Page 10 there is a model that seems to represent Michael Collins getting shot by a modeller called Dave Kennedy. Just found a full photo where he's standing on some paving which I doubt they had in Béal na mBláth so maybe he's holding his hat on against the wind

The base had some leaves fluttering(?) across the ground so my impression was that he was indeed holding his hat against a strong headwind.
