Looks good so far! Excuse my ignorance, but what was the 10/7's purpose? Thanks!

The official use of the Feuerleitkraftwagen was controlpanel of the V2-AbschussPlatform. Also see www.V2rocket.com.

The only half-track i've seen being used in this role is the SdKfz 7. But then again I could be wrong.

Thanks Darrell...almost oversaw your question...
No, they were all the original items in the kit. In the picture you referred to, the spocket was still in primer and the 3 wheels had their first Tamiya TS-46 basecolour. You can still see the primer leftovers on the inside of the right rearside wheels...

Aloha gents,
Here a short update of my SdKfz 10/7.
At this very moment, the wheels are all glued and painted, so the 2 traxconstructs will be added shortly.
Thanks for looking. There wil be more later

Thanks for sharing Frank! Ive never seen either of these vehicles before, and both look very cool. Great scratch-skills and nice paintwork.

I've never seen anything like these AFVs - the scratch build is very good.
Something about the decals doesn't look good to my eye but I think thats a personal thing.

Hi Frank and Scott,
thanks for your replies. It could be that u guys never seen these vehicles, because they are extended fantasyworks. Nevertheless, these projects are really fun. Try it yourself, I'd say...

Hi all,
Here a short update on the leftside trackworks.
I used
1* base : Tamiya XF-9 Hull Red
2* filter : burnt sienna
3*chipping : Humbrol-53 metal
The difference in colour hull-undercarriage lies within planning. Undercarriage is not fixated onto hull untill I have a satifying feeling with the traxpart. The rubber wheelparts for example, needs to be done once more. Then the small rubberparts on the outside of the trax need some blackening...
