Ahoy Clarkie,

You should be able to find sanding sticks in the cosmetics department of any
large store or if the pharmacies(drug stores) carry cosmetics in France.

Les femmes usually use them to file their nails. They are relatively cheap to buy
so get a few of the flat ones and the thicker padded ones, in different grits.

They are available in fine , medium and course grits and also a polishing
one. The thin ones can be cut cut into odd shapes to fit in tight corners etc.

Hope this helps,

Have a nice day.....

Joe

Ahoy clarkie,

Thanks for the comments on the sub.

Polishing???

Emery board sticks......used as a final polishing step after the nails are filed.

Same type of stick and same source but very very fine grit almost a rough paper.

Clarkie,

I use the ones made by Flex-I-File. You can see them here: http://www.flex-i-file.com/

Squadron makes something similar too.
