After # 2, I'd be hard pressed to want to see #3. I fell asleep and didn't even bother trying to find out how it ended the next day.

Doh! Al! You fell asleep in Pirates 2?

Me thinks you have officially crossed over the hill. (ducking)

Cheers,
Jim

PS: I remember in 1978 when my stepfather fell asleep watching Star Wars in the theater.

Yo Ho, thanks for that link, it does look really awesome.

Loved the first one, missed the second one at the cinema and am still to get it on DVD but I will soon.

I'll have to make sure I see this one on the big screen this time.

I'm with Al. I loved the first one, but the second one seemed to go on and on......... I would definitely advise you not to see the third one before you watch #2. You will be lost. I do plan to see the third one in hopes that it clears #2 up for me.

Ha-Har Billy!!

Shiver me timbers and blow me down....!! I Can't wait for the likes of scurvy Jack and his maties to come back to the big screen. It should be a real fine blow so we'll probably need to shorten sail and lash oursevles to the pinrail for this one...!!

Just as long as there's more of pretty Elizabeth and that un-dead monkey....

I didn't quite far asleep, but it was touch and go there for a while. The whole thing with the ball of bones could have been cut out as far as I was concerned. To be honest I can't remember a thing about it, except that I was bored. I've seen the 1st one a dozen of times, and I loved it, but No. 2 was No. 2, if you know what I mean.

Guess that means I'm over the hill also Jim.

I have high hopes for No. 3 as the last in a trilogy is often the best of the bunch.

I went to see number two with a group of friends, all dressed as pirates. Better dig out the good 'ol outfit for this one.
Looks truly amazing.

I lasted 10 minutes. Thank God for originality in TV series, 'cos the cinema is lookin' REAL tired these days...(also ducking)

I liked #2 - it was way over-the-top like intended to setup #3. I look forward to this one. I think this Summer will be good fare for movie fans.

I thought 2 was decent. It wasn't spectacular like the first, but only a few sequels ever exceed the first. Usually #3 does pick up the pace again provided #2 didn't really drop the ball. I'll more than likely big screen this one, but as for me, my summer movie will be Spiderman 3

Loved the first one, found the second one had too slow a pace and should have been tightened up a lot more. If it wasn't for Keira Knightly, I dunno if I would have stayed awake either. lol
