I just heard about this and thought I'd post it on here. Its sad that people do things like this. I'm just glad that nobody was seriously hurt and nothing of a historic value was damaged. People need to have more respect for museums and historic sites. Whats your take on it?

From reading that report it seems the guy had some real mental issues. That doesn't excuse him, but does explain it a bit. Like you said thankfully nobody was seriously hurt.
McMinnville? That's where the "Spruce Goose" is, isn't it?

Yes thats where the Spruce Goose is located. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend going there. I've been there 3 times myself and its worth it everytime. They have a model show there every September. Its kind of neat to have a show right under the tail of such a famous plane. I should really post some of my pictures of the museum today.

Mental issues? Sounds to me like the guy had some serious substance abuse issues. Biting a 62 year old woman? Wow.

Sounds like he thought he was going to fly away in the B-17. I'm betting drugs.
Biting a 62 yr.old woman!? Unpleasant thought. (for the poor woman)
Cheers,
Charles
