Yep, finally got a new set of eyes.
Cost almost 500 shekels for the lenses. Amazingly I can see the screen with the more normal center of the lenses, not by tipping my head back and looking through the bottom. :-) Maybe my painting will improve. :-)

Congrats on the new goggles. You go for a bi-focal or a multi-focal lense?

I bought my new pair of gogs in December... opted for a lighter frame, hardened plastic lenses so as to put less pressure/weight on the shnoz.

I am all ways surprised how much clearer things are with a fresh presciption. However, I seem to require more and more light and in some cases shadow . May sight be last to fail.

I got progressive lenses Rudi. far- top, normal - middle and close up -bottom. Also went for the light weight set up. Same old fashion wire frames, hell that's all I'll wear. I look too nerdy or geeky with the other style frames. Would never want to be mistaken for a nerd or geek you know. :-)

Glad to here Dave. I know what you mean though, see last year I found myself struggling to see up close. So the wife said to have them looked at, and yep sure enough I needed I glasses…reading glasses. Anyhow all is good now and glad that your new specks worked out as well.

Yeah isn't it funny how after you get new glasses you wonder how you ever saw through the old pair with all the scratches?

The eye doctors see me coming. They always advertise one price, and by the time I get all the options I'm up to three or four times that much.

I got my Enkay magnifier yesterday, and I love it. I might not need a new prescription until I can't see through the scratches.

Now I need to look into a having my ears checked. I only hear about half of what anybody says to me.

It sucks getting older. :-)

No, that's selective hearing!!!! It's genetic amongst us Men.......... or so I've been told.........

I too need to get my A$$ in gear and get my Eyes looked at... I think after a decade of stairing at the Computer monitor (work related) i Might be getting to the point of needing some.......

Heck maybe it's just exhausion.... 60+ hour weeks will do that too!!!

WHY? You don't need to hear to build a model. :-)
