Anyone follwing CWC 2007?

Wow! What a weekend of highs and lows!

Definite was Gibb's 6x6x6x6x6x6! Saddest moment was the sudden passing of Bob Woolmer. RIP Bob.

Your favourite to win?

Despite hoping SA takes it, my head is saying Australia.

Yes! I have been watching! The broadcast times are playing havoc with my life and my modelling time. My favourite match is the Indian defeat to Bangladesh. tonight's match is crucial, if South Africa can put some doubts into australia's bowling, there is a good chance that South Africa can win the Cup in a few weeks' time. i'll be up all night watching this one

Glad to hear at least 1 other person is watching

I'm pretty lucky though. The games start between 15.00 and 16.00 South African time, so I get to see most of the games

The highlight for me has been Ireland's progress... quite amazing!

I still reckon Australia is the team to watch. I think they took it easy against England in the closing stages of the Ashes, and they've been lying low so far in the CWC...

Rudi,
I too have been keeping an eye on the progress, Good thing about working at a sports store is we get to watch the highlights hehe! I bet you will be a bit disappointed about the result today. I agree I think Australia is the team to beat they always pull it together when they need too.

Hi Andy,

Yeah, it was a bit of a downer... They were pretty much on par with the Aussies until about the 35th over... then I stepped away for a second and the next thing I knew we were in dire straits...

oh, well, I guess at least we're though to the next round...

Keep well

Rudi
