Hi,
I posted times for my upcoming IPMS show in 2 threads

https://archive.kitmaker.net/forums/94234&page=1

https://hfmodeling.kitmaker.net/forums/95057&page=1

Turns out I was given incorrect information!
I deleted my post on both threads but htey still appear when I go to them. And the edit button doesn't appear anymore either.
I really need to be sure that these times don't show up until I get the right information.
Can someone help me out here?
Thanks,
Craig

Hi Matt,
Just looked again and it seems like I may have managed to delete the entire thread about the show itself!!!
I'll try your suggestion too.
thanks,
Craig

Hi Matt,
What I can't figure out is how i could have deleted the entire post. I'm not an administrator, just a host of the oil painting forum. Maybe is was because I started the thread.
I sent Rudi a PM because I saw him on line but I may have missed him. And I have no idea how to get throught directly to Jim S. (he's the host for that forum). When I hit PM it just goes to a site feedback page, not the typical PM page.

I'm sorry to hear that you won't be able to make the show. What's the other show you mentioned...Buffalo? I think that's the only other one close by in the next month or so.

The post in My Community is okay now. I guess it was just a time issue or something.
I'll repost the one under Events. I was just hoping not to lose all of the replies.
Thanks,
Craig

Oops that was me actually. I thought you meant that all your info was incorrect and you would repost it later when you had it. And since everyone was replying to your posts then it made more sense to just remove the whole topic.

I can restore the topic though if you'd like. Topics/posts are never really deleted anymore, just made invisible once they are marked deleted.

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
If it's no trouble, then please go ahead and restore the deleted thread.
When I see it back up, I'll delete my own replacement thread.
Pheeeew...this is getting confusing! :-)
Thanks,
Craig

Craig,
Acutally I didn't realize it until now but I will have to develop a topic recovery tool as it's more than one record I would have to update to get all the posts back to showing as well. I would have to find all the affected posts and switch them back as well.

So for now your replacement topic will have to do I guess.

Sorry about that.

Jim

JHi Jim,
No worries, it's not a problem.
I'm just glad I left the replacement thread in place :-)
