One of my MANY hobbies is gardening. I've aquired a plot in our town's community garden as the soil in my yard is unsuitable for successful gardening.

I'm planning on putting in an authentic and historically accurate "Victory Garden" from WWII using types of plants noted in official government literature of the era for use in "Victory Gardens."

I'm planning on putting up a display detailing victory gardens during WWII to educate the many visitors and gardeners in the garden about the war on the home front. A bit of history with your veggies!

Do you guys think that it's a good idea to put up a display for the public or should I keep it to myself?

I thought that it would serve as a good learning tool for the general public as they often "forget" history and my motovation is purely historical and not political.

I think it's an excellent idea, and very original. It might even start a trend. Good idea.
