I'll soon be starting the design of an interior for the 1:35 Dragon SU100 and was thinking if there is enough interest I would post images of the project from time to time. Not necessarily a step-by-step, but enough information provided that perhaps you guys could glean a little something from it?
Interested?

Mike,
Make sure to set the "group" for a new topic on armor otherwise it doesn't show up on Armorama's latest posts page.
Cheers,
Jim

Could be very interesting indeed. Are you talking about 100% scratchbuilding or some AM with a little homemade stuff?

Hi Mike!
that would be very interesting! I suppose much of the interior would be similar to a normal T34 except for the gun breech? Please share some progress when the time has come

Thanks for the advice, Jim. I'll get used to this at some point!
The SU100 will be a complete 100-percent scratchbuilt project. I'll actually be designing a production master, which will alter slightly how I approach the really fine details. But I'll address those particulars when we get to them.
Initially, all you'll need is some sheet and strip plastic and initiative. I'll be starting the construction drawings this weekend, which will dimension all the specific structural components such as bulkheads and sidewalls. Having mastered the Trakz T-34-76 set I have a pretty good idea of how to approach this build.
Later,
Mike

Hi Mike,
looking forward to some pics. I build the Trakz interior and it was a real pleasure to build it and I think it will be relatively good reference to scratch your own interior.
Cheers,
Jurjen

Jurjen,
I actually designed the prototype set of T-34-76 patterns for VLS/Trakz, so yes, I'll no doubt utilize quite a bit of the docmentation for the SU100!
