Just wanted to see if anyone was planning on being at the IPMS Roscoe Turner show March 10th in Indianapolis? I will be there, have been to the last 5 or 6 shows there and it is always a real good time, well worth the trip (well for me it is a short trip :-) ). Any way hope to see you guys there.

I will likely be there. I went to it last year and had a good time, but I doubt I will enter because of the time/distance thing.

I was there last year and had a good time. Some of those models were cheap! I found out about it this year at Hobby Town in Indianapolis. I've already started to save money!

I'm planning to be there. Don't plan to enter but can't wait to browse the vendors. The vendor turnout has been really good in past years with great prices and lots of old HTF stuff.

There were great prices there last year. I remember picking up Tamiya figure sets for only a dollar! I easy bought $250 dollars worth of kits there last year for under a hundred dollars.

I remember the great deals at the vendors tables, but unfortunately, my wife just reminded me that we are decisively engaged with two of our kids' activities this weekend.

That is why I say that marriages should be like the military. After each term of enlistment you have the option to either re-up or get out with penalty :-)

Will the I-70 construction affect the routes to get to the show? From what I can find I don't think so but wanted to make sure because I hate sitting in traffic!

From what I have heard from a co-worker that takes that route daily, it has actually run pretty smoothly. It doesn't change anything at the I-465 exits. They are open. You'll take I-465 South to Brookville Rd to the east then right on Franklin Rd then left on Raymond St to school. Looking forward to it!

I did. Great vendors and lots of contest entries to check out.
Lots of nice looking German armor and dios. Came away with
a Tasca Luchs, Dragon M4A3 VVSS (Battle of the Bulge) and
Verlinden ruined Rathaus all for $40. Looking forward to next year!

I got there pretty early and didn't stay too long but the models I did see were great and even though I thought the vendor turnout was lower it was still alright. The prices to me seemed alittle higher than last year and had more non-armor kits for sale. I did get some good deals. 2 Tamiya M1025 Hummers for 15 and 17 dollars, so not too bad. I can't wait for next year!
