For the first time, Stephen Hunter's fictional character, Bob Lee Swagger, is being featured in a movie. Shooter is due for release 16 March. See details here.

There were 4-5 novels featuring this character set in the time of their release, then a series featuring featuring his father set in the forties and fifties.
