For those posting in forums like Buy, Sell, Trade or Scratchbuilding for example, if you don't select the proper group for your topic (when you start one) then that topic may not show up on the latest posts page as you would like it to.

So if you are selling something make sure to select the primary interest (aircraft, armor, figures, naval) or you might find it's not going to get the exposure you were looking for.

This was done btw so that we didn't have the more numerous AFV related BST and Scratchbuilding topics overloading the latest posts pages of other sites.

Remember that if you want to see the most complete record of all the most recent topics on the site you can use the Network Latest Posts page as that should display most everything.
