I’m looking for model kits of the patriot weapon system and cant seem to find any. Does anyone know of any web sites that still offer these if there are any around?
I thought I remembered there used to be a kit that had the patriot launcher and support equipment including radar.

Nimex or Nemix is the company that has the whole system in 1/35 scale but I think it is a bit pricey from what I remember. I beleive they are resin kits.

Roger that, I will check it out.
I do a lot of stuff in the field of air defense and such and wanted to get some true scale models for use at a booth this year at an air show I will be working at.
I will check them out. I also just found that great models have a patriot launcher and support vehicle but not all the other support equipment.

Arii did a four kit set that included the Launcher, Radar, Antenna and Controller in 1/48 scale. The prime movers were ficticious and more akin to something that fights Godzilla than a true HEMTT-based vehicle.

Do you by any chance know the brand of that particular model?

The one on GM's site is a Heller #HE81138 'Patriot Missile' Launch Vehicle. It is in 1/48 scale. Just type in Patriot in the GM search box at the top of the page.

Howdy ISNateJH , and "Welcome!" to the site.
, and "Welcome!" to the site.
All that has been already said about the launcher is spot on, especially our good Sabot's bit.....in fact, I had planned to pose the question about the rather interesting looking prime movers on another thread.
They did in fact look like something out of a 'Godzilla' movie and I had no idea what they might possibly be.....thought someone here might know.
Apparently I wasn't that far off on my observation of the vehicle's potential lineage

The Nimix kit is resin, and quite pricey. As to the quality, I cannot comment on that.
Again, welcome to the site.

No I cant remember the brand of the model kit. I saw it on a hobby shelf store back in 1995 at the time did not have cash to get it wished I had.
I just orderd the the launcher from GM site and will just Scratch build the rest of the equipment that is needed. and make any alterations to the launcher that are needed to make it correct if needed.

If you're really interested, I can provide photos of the box art and contents.

The prime mover vehicle {as pictured on the Arii kit} looks indeed like a HEMTT-based truck, the front tandem steering carriage being the most obvious evidence. But it has the look of something........Soviet, I guess....

 just kinda.....weird.

I have the ARII kit for sale. I'll let it go for $13.00 but that does not include postage. If you're interested let me know.

Lol I can see what you mean by the support vehicle models, they do look like they came out of a Godzilla movie. One thing is they look like they are based off some of the very early 80’s era artist concepts images of the patriot and what they thought the support systems should look like. Looks like I will have my work cut out for me on kit bashing my correct support vehicles but hell it will be fun

This one kills me. :-) :-)

"Ladar" :-) :-) :-)
No offense to any of our Asian members, but their mastery of the English language is classic. Similar to the Trumpeter and Dragon box-side descriptions on their kits.

:-) :-) .......I know I shouldn't be laughing, but I never claimed any 'special' sense of self control when it comes to being 'PC'........probably a result of being traumatized by an early episode of the 'Andy Griffith Show'......something to do with a bottled pickles recipe

Being of Asian descent (half Indonesian), it's all right if I make jokes about my own ethniticity. It's not like I'm an anti-Dentite or anything like that.
BTW, Nimix makes resin Patriot missile systems in 1/35 scale. Much better quality kit, but much more money.
