This was my all time favorite toy. I played this of hours and hours. A friend down the street had the styrofoam Coast Guard ship one. After playing with his I went into the attic and took the lid of the styrofoam cooler to make my own ship.
Anyhow now you can play it once again, it’s just a simple free down load. I’ve been playing it for hours….again. Also there’s a rescue ship add-on, I suggest holding off till you get to know the game first.
VertiBird Sim
Enjoy,
Joe

Howdy Joe.
Yes, I do remember that particular toy
And, being as I was born with a love of anything that flies, or more importantly, anything to do with helicopters, the VertiBird was played with till it literally fell apart!
Thx for the memories.....

Ok how many has been to the site, how many downloaded the program and played...Whats even better is that it has a cockpit view along with a view for the hook (F2) button.

Downloaded, figured out how to operate it and when I quit, the computer locked up completely and took 3 tries to restart. Uninstalled the application.

This is a great little program of an awesome toy I think we all spent countless hours with on the den floor or basement as in my case. lol Anyone remember the old "flying aces" toy, you had foam planes that shot into the sky from a cockpit style catapult launcher? I LOVED that thin, even had the old aircraft carrier to go with it. If only I had some of my old toys back...
