This is my current project Trumpeters KV-1 model 1942 heavy cast turret. Builds up nicely. A fair bit of flash on this kit which surprised me a bit. Painted in MM acrylics Russian army green and Tamiya white for the white wash. I layered it in several layers. Hard to see in the photos but the green shows still shows through slightly.
I tried the silly putty mask.. I really like the way you can work the putty around details. I will be using that method again. Next comes weathering. Maybe a thin wash to tone down the white and blend the two colours. Any comments welcomed..
