Well ive recently bought a compressor and am going to buy an airbrush pretty soon.
i have been reading up about airbrushes on this site and it seems i need a air regulator and a moisture trap. While looking on the website of a company called machine mart ( i live local to one of their shops) i found what i think is a moisture trap and one that i think is a regulator and moisture trap please could you look at the links below and tell me if i am right that these are moisture traps and also if these are competitive prices or not.

James, the second link looks like a good bit of kit - it will easily cope with a standard compressor up to 8 bar (over 110psi). It has a built in moisture trap. Remember, you will be spraying at around 1-2 bar.
The connectors are fairly standard sizes but depending on your airbrush hoses, you may need to buy adapters (a couple of quid each). These are readily available on ebay but the shop you buy the regulator from should be able to supply them also.
The prices are about right for the UK market.
Regards,
Lee

James
You may want to take a look at every thing airbrush . They do traps and regulators aimed more at the hobby market. The Clarke stuff, albeit very good is aimed at the workshop/professional end, and is priced accordingly.

The thing to remember is keep th Moisture trap As close to the end of the line (meaning Airbrush) as possible As the Air expands goming out of the compressor it want to release the Moisture. By having it as close to the end of the line you'll remove mor form the compressed air.
