Aloha everyone!

I'm in dire need of a 90mm barrell muzzle brake- one that is preferably from an AFV or Academy M-18 kit. Does anyone have a "spare box" one for purchase?

Thanks in advance!!

Kurt

Are you sure you're after a 90mm brake? The M18 was equipped with a 76mm gun (though Academy Europe is releasing a kit of a prototype M18 with an M36 turret). If you do need the 90mm brake, it is available as a spare part in the Academy M36 tank destroyer kit.
If you need a 76mm brake, the Dragon Battle of the Bulge M4A3 Sherman includes the brake as an optional part.
In both cases, you can still complete the donor kit with the parts provided.
Alternatively, aftermarket manufacturers like Armour Scale, Model Point, Jordi Rubio and others offer replacement barrels and muzzle brakes.

Hey there Delbert!

Thanks much for the offer but as Gerald ( much thanks to him too!) so pointed out it is actually the M-36 Academy muzzle brake I would be in need of. I really appreciate the offer. Don't happen to know anyone with an Academy M-36 eh?

Thanks again,

Kurt

Okies and I'm afraid I don't have a M36 laying around yet....

just wondering if your making the M36 or trying for the experimental 90mm Gum Motor Carriage M18?
