Did anyone notice HAnks in BoB. Apparently the credits of a movie site said he made an appearance as a British officer.

I knew he was a producer, had some writing credit, and directed one episode, but I don't remember seeing him on screen. I wonder what episode? I may have to check out the credits for the individual episodes and see which one he's in then check it out.

Hey guys- He's in the one where they're in Holland and "Moose" Heiliger takes Easy to rescue the Red Devil Paras that escaped from Arnhem. I saw some publicity pics of him in the Woolie-Pullie w/ Beret & smudges. I understand that he's just seconds of background thought, as he wanted to be a part of the shoot but not take it over. Frame thru the beachead shots & the Party afterward (when Col. Dobie is Toasting the men) and you can catch a brief glimpse i believe.

Yeah I had a felling he was in that episode when I saw him listed as the British Officer on IMDB.

COLD and WET! I've lived here nearly 10 years, and I think until this year we've had maybe 5 blizzards. We've had three now since Oct. It's getting a little old. Still this weekend it means I don't have to do any outdoors "honey dos" and maybe get some modeling done.

This photo (bottom of page) on www.eeggs.com clarifies it.

EDIT: His son Colin Hanks portrays the role of 2nd Lt. Henry Jones (The young West Point LT)

Yeah, hard to believe there wasn't just a wee bit of nepotism going on there BUT the young man acquitted himself well in the role, I'd say. (He was also very good as Alex in the short-run TV series Roswell).

PAX,

How do people spot things like this? When I watch a movie I watch the movie, I don't look for little things like equipment or crew showing where they shouldn't be, or cameos where you have to pause the movie and advance it frame by frame. It's truly amazing what you can see on a DVD. Thanks to a friend who shaw remain nameless, but who knows who he is, I was able to watch this scene and, after several attempts, spot Hanks. Nice heads up.

As long as you enjoyed the surprise. :-) It really is a nice piece of kit, I was going to team mine up with the Type 89 IFV or Type 90 MBT- maybe the JGSDF Motorbike recce set? We'll see...

And Colin Hanks did do a good job with the role of Lt Jones.
