Its looking great! Got any pointers on joining panels on angles for me? I love the crane arm! You going to put all the hydrolic lines along the side (Im sure you are)? I have made a scoop bucket and a skid loader front in my minds eye hundreds of times. Did you have any trouble with wrapping the back panel to the bucket shape?
Good luck on the rest of it!

Steve, you're a man after my heart :-)
The trojan is coming along great - do you need any help with references? I was planning to build the AEV but it went pear shaped on me.
Cheers,
Graeme

Hi
I have just been building a hull with multi angles and a turret with even worse angles to do.
Ok this is my way.
it you look at a plan, or side view this is even better. Let’s say you want the length or height of the sides of the tank I am building the leopard 2 prototype.
By taking the angle of the sides which lean inwards from the front on view I know it is 45 degrees inwards. Now for the length, measure this as normal
Draw an angle of 45 degrees at the top of the rear of the engine deck down at the end of the hull then draw lines to this to represent where the different heights in the side are. Now measure this. This is the height of the side piece.
Only take measurements of widths on the plan view
See my post latest WIP
Hope this helps

Did I say that

-----well it may happen soon ...

.....just found out that I have missed out 2 parts

and mis-calculated an angled plate-or 3..

---result ---tear it apart and go again ......knew I should have waited till I was better
OK.....will see if I can get it right this time ---its only time

---and patience

.....getting a headache now ---

get a

and relax ---I am sane !!!--I know I am ...aint I ?????

Steve,
Your Trojan is looking great. I hope you'll be adding a fascine roll when you get to the final details.
