I'm putting together my second shipment of goodies to the Camp Delta modeling club in Iraq. They've advised me they need paint and adhesives but the ban on shipping flammables makes that tough. Acrylic paints work fine but does anyone have another adhesive option besides CA? Typical glues are banned from shipments to APOs. Anybody out there have another choice that they have successfully shipped overseas? Thanks.

I've sent a few packages of models and supplies to the Camp Tall Afar club. I did exactly what Matt described. All packages arrived as I sent them.

I sent tubes of Testors glue in the red and blue tubes. They arrived just fine.

I hope this reply helps because it doesn't expand more on the shipping technique including just saying hobby modeling supplies, but this product mey be useful. My shipping advice would be as already explained above with the bags and wraps and distributed into smaller jars.
This clear liquid cement looks and acts just like the hobby cements for styrene.

again, I hope this helps, I never tried shipping it.

Hey Guys,
Up here in Northern Iraq I recieved Tamiya and Humbrol paints, an exacto knife, and Testors tube glue from my buddy back home with no problem, according to him. Would rather have the liquid type as I have not used the tube type in many years, but it's no problem and most welcome !
