I purchased some Gunze Sangyo Masking Sol R and Neo. I am attempting to mask a part for painting, however I am a little nervous this being a new product to me and the part being chrome which I won't be able to restore easily. I am wondering how does this solution react to enamel paint and lacquer thinners? I would imagine it being perfect for acrylics but the lacquer thinner may dissolve it and mess everything up.

Well, if anyone is interested, lacquer/enamels work, but just make sure the layer is not too thin.
