Dead Reckoning
I love George A Romero's movies and have wanted to make this thing for a long time. maybe some of you can recognize the main vehicle that was modified.

Its some sort of truck, but what kind is beyond me. They have covered it with armor plates and other modifications though, so it might be hard to recognize even if someone did know a lot about trucks.

isometric drawings...
if you have a part lof the pic as you know the 1:1 size as a tire and you have a pic showing a diifferent angle you can do extrapolations to have measurements and this way you will have a more close idea of measurements.
a 30 degrees inclination of the vehicle is more easy to do.it but for a lateral view you can have a very good aproximation.
a lot of work to do

Yes that is the way I used to think as well, but read here and you will see that that does not really work. Yes it can give you a rough idea of things, but I have run into the problems of a 2-D photograph and the vanishing point dilemma. The other problem is that I have very limited views of this project and all of the views are very dark.
Eventually I will give it a go from an educated guess approach, but I was hoping someone might happen to have some suggestions on what truck I could base this off of. After that its basically just tricked out!
Thanx all, keep the ideas coming!

If the picture from the film, or is it an artists view? Is there a better picture of the front wheels? I am not familiar with the movie, but they probably used a run of the mill semi truck and trailer.

Here is a better view of the front wheel. I have a 1994 Kenworth and a 1990 International that both have the same bolt pattern and the same hub in the middle for the oil.

Looks like that vehicle from the old movie w/ Jan Michael Vincent
"Damnation Alley" I actually know the kit is made just try to find it. Just don't ask anyone to send you a pic of it.
Hope I helped,
Z.
