Saw the trailer for this the other night and then took a look at the web site. WOW!
If you like US Civil War history then this is the film for you. Great action and historically accurate. I'll say one thing to Ted Turner he knows his civil war history.

A must see this weekend...

I just watched Gettysburg this week and will go see Gods and Generals tomorrow night, its a nice change that I have to drag the girlfriend along instead of the other way around!

I haven't seen the movie previews, but I can tell you the book was very good.

Just returned from watching a sneak preview of the movie here in the town for which it is about. Fredericksburg. A local org. had a fund-raiser and one theater got permission to show it one day earlier. Well worth the money. If you are a civil war buff, you will love it. IMHO this movie is better than Gettysburg and The Blue and the Gray.

Truly a must see for 2003.
