I am finalizing my greed list for Christmas. Any ideas on some History books that need to be added. I am into Martin Gilbert's Somme, fascinating reading. Don't be limited by time period or events.

I want a big picture book called simply "Iwo Jima". It's $40 bucks though! It is solid pics and very interesting ones at that!

I assume you saw the recent Clint Eastwood film on Iwo. If so, what did you think of it? Did not seem to be a box office hit.
