Hi,
I've just seen that Mission Models have released a new EtchMate...the 3C.
Has anyone seen this in the flesh yet or better still used it?
If so, what do you think?

I just ordered it the other day. Hasn't showed up yet. I'll let you know what I think, although it probably will not be worth much since I've never worked with photoetch before.

I got mine last weekend. Havent had much time to try it out yet though. With the windding down of the holidays, time will be on my side a little latter on. I will say that it is lightweight and seams to be of a very strong material. Although the last one they made was made from aluminum this one isn't.
Nice tool, and I am myself intimidated by PE so this should help a lot.
Cheers.

It's a great tool!
I got mine last week from the LHS. I've always wanted some sort of PE bending tool but stayed away from the razor blades because I'm accident prone. The thin plastic blades work great and it 's durable.
Check out this video at ML. just scroll down and click on the 3C pic.
