Upon trying to change my avatar, a page came up asking me to register my account. When I filled in the spaces using my current account info, it of course stated that that user name, &c. was already in use and asked me to choose another. What have I done wrong?

Hi,
What happens when you try to access this link:

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/user.php?op=edituser

Do you get a message saying you need to confirm your email?

Thanks,
Jim

No, that one works fine (see the topic I posted a few posts down). What happens is that when I click on "Select an Image," it takes me to the "Request an Account" page, then when I enter my account information it tells me that that user name, &c. is already in use and asks me to choose another. I suppose I could start a new account using different information, but it seems that that shouldn't really be necessary. In such cases I immediately suppose that I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what that might be.

AH!... yes there was a bad link on "Select an Image" which was hitting a redirect to the new member signup system. It should work now.
