Hi all,
Tried Googling for this, but it only seems to come up with bike helmets etc, so I try it here. Come to think of it, there's probably one member of two on our site who has worn one of these...
So, what exactly is it, and what AFV's would these have been worn in?
If I can get a suitable plug I might even rig it up to use with skype
(that is a joke... )
Cheers
Henk

Looks like the Dan Dare helmet of the 70s and 80s, used by Chieftain and CVR(T) crews and probably others.

Don't understand Spanish, but I gather that this Helmet wes issued between 1973 ad 1983, and worn by Artillery soldiers as well as AFV crews. Ohh, and the comrade revolutionairies also seem to wear them... :-)
Thanks for the link David.
