Just wanted to say hello,
Just starting into this great hobby at 34 years old and found this great site network a few days ago. Always was interested in scale modeling from a distance but never got around to diving into it. In process of assembling my needed tools and have a few 3:50 scale trumpeter ships and the reville VIIC on order. Hope someday I can acheive the amount of detail and pure "art" I have seen from some of the examples of all types of the models seen on the sites here.
This place seems to be a wealth of friendly knowledge and information. Just going to take me awhile to get use to navigating all of the linked sites.
Introductions
If you are new to the network please post a little something here to introduce yourself.

Gday BK
A very warm welcome from little ol' New Zealand.
With your keen interest in ships dont forget to check out the model shipwrights section whilst looking around the site. A great team of ship modellers and historians are to be found there.
So pull up a keyboard and spend sometime enjoying this site and its friendship as a member.
Regards
Sean
