You just have to love "Point and Click" :-)
The "enclose gift card and ship direct" is also great for those family and friends away in other states. :-)

Perhaps I'm just getting too old and lazy to put up with the hassle of crowds in stores. :-)

Got one or two things bought but have to wail until I got more money.

I also have at least 3 birthdays to buy for this month, too!

My kids are done (but I'm sure I'll find a couple of small stocking stuffers here and there). About 50/50 online/in-store.

Overall, I'm about 75% finished, but the rest is easy - gift cards and online ordering.

One thing that struck me as unique this year was the toys in particular were in short supply by Black Friday. There's been some restocking, but I swear that if you didn't have anything remotely popular by Thanksgiving, you weren't getting it at all (or at least at a non-eBay price).

The wife and I bought a 37 inch HD LCD TV on black Saturday. That was supposed to be our gift to each other since frankly we spent more than we planned on. Any who, yesterday she tells me I have things under the tree. Sweet.
I thought I was done but now I have to shop.

Bah...

point and click, takes care of my texas relations.Sending a package through the USPS is fraught with possible diasters,so i play it safe.Locally,my brother, and nieces and nephews have sent me a list,so shopping for "Things" will be a 1 or 2 night affair.

I've never really minded hitting the stores at Christmastime, but the internet sure makes shopping much easier. The only stores I've went to this year are toy stores when shopping for my grandson. Now that he's three and getting away from the baby toys, I've had a blast roaming the aisles checking out the cars and trucks, Transformers, action figures and such. After being a semi-Scrooge for a lot of years, the little guy has helped make Christmas fun again.
