HO is about 1/87 and N is about 1/144 no neither is all that close to 1/35. HO trees won't work at all. One company made "HO" mushrooms and ferns that would work well in 1/35.

Okay, here's the rundown.
N= 1/160
HO (or Half-O)= 1/87
S=1/64
O=1/48
G= 1/22.5-1/32 (generally speaking that "G" consists of any scale between 1/22.5 and 1/32)
Hope that helps,
Cuhail

 Jan,
Any sort of ground cover in O Scale (rocks, rubble, etc.) will work. Most rocks are in various sizes in real life, so an assortment of products are in my sceniking supplies. As a modeler in 1/25 to 1/160 and all points between, they all come in handy across the board.
